🗣️ Korean phrases for your fan trip
A few polite phrases go a long way. Romanization follows Korea's official Revised Romanization; if a word is tricky, just show the Hangul on your phone.
Step by step
- Start politeAdd 주세요 (juseyo, 'please give me') to almost anything, and finish with 감사합니다 (thank you).
- At cafés and restaurantsPoint and say 이거 하나 주세요 to order one of something; ask 1인분 돼요? if you're eating alone.
- In a taxiShow the Korean address and say 여기로 가 주세요.
- On the subwayAsk 몇 번 출구예요? to find the right exit number.
- If you need helpCall 1330 (Korea Travel Helpline) for interpretation and travel help; 112 for police, 119 for fire and ambulance.
